The short answer

Lip blush in Edmonton costs $399–$750 for a first session at the five other studios we checked on October 19, 2026, and most charge $80–$210 more for the first touch-up. At Mari Esthetics’ private studio in West Edmonton, Lip Blush is $250 for about 120 minutes, with a $75 deposit; our online menu doesn’t list a separate touch-up service or price.

It’s the time of year the furnace stops taking days off, the corners of your mouth start to crack, and the lipstick you put on at 7 is gone by your first coffee. If that has you pricing lip blush, here are the numbers up front: at Mari Esthetics’ private home studio in West Edmonton, Lip Blush is $250, the appointment runs about 2 hours (120 minutes), and a $75 deposit holds your spot. The other Edmonton studios we checked list $399 to $750 for a first session. But the number that decides your budget is missing from most menus. The real price of lip blush is the first year, not the first session.

These are good studios, and the spread has honest reasons. A storefront on Whyte Ave or 111 Street pays that rent. Bigger teams price junior, senior and head artists differently. Some studios fold a second session or an aftercare product into the price. None of that is padding; it’s just a different set-up from one artist working alone.

Why almost every price comes in two parts

Lip blush isn’t finished the day you walk out. Vogue México explains that the lip has three zones, and the inner, semi-mucosa part has no hair follicles, so it holds pigment less well and can need more retouching. When Ivana Rodríguez, Georgina Rodríguez’s sister, had her lips done, her artist told ¡HOLA! that the final result doesn’t show until at least a month later.

That’s why many studios treat the touch-up as the second half of the job, done once your lips have healed and you can see what stayed. Mari’s own guide puts it this way: initial healing often takes 7–10 days, the colour keeps settling over several weeks, and your healing timeline is explained before you leave. With proper aftercare and periodic touch-ups, results typically last 2–3 years.

The first-year math: session plus first touch-up

Put the two parts together and the order of the list changes. This is simple arithmetic on the published prices above, before GST, using each studio’s earliest touch-up window:

StudioFirst sessionFirst touch-upFirst-year total
Glam Studio Spa$400$80$480
Studio Vanassa$399$210$609
Brow Envy$500 / $600$150$650 / $750
Huarii Beauty$400–$700$100–$150$500–$850
Studio N Beauty$400 / $450 / $750Included$400 / $450 / $750
Mari Esthetics$250Not on our online menu$250 (the listed session)

Treat it as illustrative: your artist decides whether you need a second session, and a touch-up booked late usually costs more (Studio Vanassa’s 12-month price matches its first-session price). Studio N is the fair exception. Its first number looks high next to a one-session menu, but the second session is already in it, so compare Studio N with the right-hand column, not the first.

One more piece of maths, on our own published lifespan: $250 spread over 2–3 years comes to roughly $83–$125 a year before touch-ups. That’s arithmetic, not a promise. How long colour lasts depends on your skin, sun and aftercare.

Five questions to ask before you pay any deposit

A Spanish micropigmentation guide published this spring by Living Pink says the first thing to ask is whether the touch-up is included. We’d put that at the top of an Edmonton list too, then add four more:

  1. Can I see healed lips, not just fresh ones? Fresh lips are swollen and brighter than they’ll ever be again. Healed photos show the colour you’ll actually live with.
  2. How will you choose my shade? Listen for your natural lip tone and undertone, not just the lipstick you brought.
  3. When will I hear the touch-up timing and price? Ask about the touch-up at booking, not at checkout.
  4. Will I get aftercare in writing? Furnace air is free. Healing in it without a plan isn’t.
  5. What happens if my lips are dark or two-toned? A good artist will tell you before you book if blush alone won’t do it.

Our answers: your shade is matched to your natural lip tone, numbing is topical, your healing instructions are written for Edmonton’s dry indoor seasons, and your healing timeline is explained before you leave. Our online menu lists Lip Blush as one $250 session and doesn’t list a separate touch-up service or price.

When the cheapest quote isn’t the right one

  • Dark or two-toned lips. A blush shade alone may not even them out; Lip Neutralization ($200, about 120 minutes, $75 deposit, consultation required) often comes first, and we’ve written about why nude lipstick turns grey on darker lips.
  • A history of cold sores. Tell your artist and talk to your doctor before booking. Studio N publishes a stricter rule: a doctor-prescribed antiviral before any lip procedure.
  • Recent lip filler. Studio N asks for two months between filler and lip blush. If you’re weighing one against the other, read lip blush vs lip filler: colour, not volume.
  • You want it to look like nothing was done. Spanish salons interviewed by Trendencias call the softest finish “BB lips” or watercolour lips. Ask for it by name, whatever studio you pick.

Black Friday or not: when to book lip blush in Edmonton

Black Friday lands on November 27 this year, the same day the Edmonton Christmas Market opens at Fort Edmonton Park and the first weekend of the Oddbird Art & Craft Fair starts in Old Strathcona (November 27–29). Book in the next few weeks and the first 7–10 days of healing are behind you well before that weekend, with the colour still settling into what you’ll wear to December parties.

Black Friday is for boots. If a lip blush deal shows up anywhere that week, price the first year before you bite: session, touch-up and anything the studio requires first. Working a rotation? Our lip blush plan for shift workers lines healing up with your days off. And if you want the full calendar, here’s why fall is the sweet spot for healed lips by Christmas.

Lip blush in West Edmonton: why $250

Mari works one client at a time in a private home studio in West Edmonton, a few minutes off the Henday. That’s handy if you’re in Callingwood, Lewis Estates, The Hamptons, Glastonbury or Granville, and an easy drive from St. Albert, Spruce Grove or Stony Plain instead of crossing town to Whyte Ave, downtown or Mill Woods. There’s no storefront lease, no front desk and nobody waiting in the next chair, and your 2 hours are booked for you alone. That’s the whole reason for the price, not a rushed service. Our full guide to lip blush in Edmonton covers the colour consult, numbing and aftercare. The address is shared when you book, and there’s more about the area on our West Edmonton page. (We did the same studio-by-studio exercise for lash extension prices in Edmonton.)
